Eight gods and goddesses of the ancient Greek bestowed their gifts on unique human beings, forever setting them apart from others. In present day times, the witches and demons that stem that from those original humans must fine-tune their powers to reach their full potential. And there is only one place they can go

Run by Helena Achlys, The Achlys Academy is a school for those special few with powers beyond belief. However, not everyone wants a good outcome for their fellow students--or the world. Become a witch, pure-blooded and gifted. Or a demon, dark and powerful. Or perhaps a mixed blood witch. And just like in those ancient times, these witches have rivalries among their own. Will these rivalies tear them apart? Or will the darkness within get them first?

Term Begins
The Halloween Dance has welcomed our new students and teaches, and has welcomed back our past occupants. Classes will now begin. Beware: the school work is tough, but the drama is tougher.

Compulsory Classes

You must enroll in these classes.

Spellcraft:
    This is an essential for all students. You'll learn basic rituals, incantation, and for those (like Athena's) who've studied hard enough, can control energy with spells.


Potioncraft:

    Another essential. All students must take this class. Here you will learn the properties of all herbs, plants and animal parts used in potioncraft, along with the basic techniques.


Elective Classes

You must enroll in a minimum of four of these classes. The maximum is six.

Witch History:
    Learn all about how witches and demons got their powers, along with some more powerful and famous witches of the past.


Elemental Development:
    Where you'll learn abilities to do with water, lightning, air and fire. A must for Zeus and Poseidon, and others who control these powers.


Combat Training:
    Various forms of martial arts and self defense. This is generally considered a must for most students, but it is not mandatory.


Weaponry:
    This one is for the serious fighters. You'll learn how to handle weapons from firearms to old fashioned spears and swords. Considered a must for Ares and Artemis.


Energy Control:
    For the witches who can control any kind of energy (dark, light, destructive). Hades and Athenas generally dominate these lessons.


Psionics:
    Very much a must for Aphrodite (since their abilities are strictly psychic linked), but also for anyone who needs help with telekinesis and telepathy.


Mind Control:
    Classes for witches who need help with empathy, hypnosis, manipulation and persuasion.
